I will NEVER, EVER forget

To the men and women who lost their lives 6 years ago...

To the men and women of FDNY and NYPD and all the other public service organizations who went IN as people were rushing out (the heroes who died just doin' what they do).

To the every day citizen who lined up to give blood, donate money or offered prayers. (Did you go to a church and hold hands with some strangers?
Stand in line and give your own blood?...But I know Jesus, and I've talked to God)

To every person who shed a tear that sunny September morning. (Did you weep for the children Who lost their dear loved ones. And pray for the ones who don't know?)

To every person who has shed a tear every day since.

I will never forget.

I will never forget you.

I will never forget that day.

I will always remember.

May God Bless You.

May God Bless America.

We are the land of the free, and the home of the brave.

I will never forget.

But I know Jesus and I talk to God
And I remember this from when I was young
Faith, Hope and Love are some good things He gave us
And the greatest is Love

Where were you when the world stopped turning on that September day?

I was teaching in Queens and we could see the whole thing happen from my colleague's classroom window.

That crap is etched in my memory.

Scary. I tell you.

I was on my way to work, and I remember just this sort of nonchalant announcement over the radio about a plane that crashed into the tower. Then, when they realized the extent, it started gettting panicky. Then, I was actually watching on the tv monitor at work when the second plane hit and I just started to bawl.

I will always hold the victims of 9/11 in my heart. I will never forget.

I watched it all come down on TV and I wanted to just stop time and rewind it all.

I was at work. I worked at a doctor's office and we were all listening to everything unfold on the radio.

I will never forget that day.
