Blogger/Blogspot Question

***Updated***

I fixed it. I clicked (or un-clicked) some box - something about "show email" what most, if not all of you suggested.

Mucho Thankso

*********************************

OK - I am gonna do my bestest to ask this....

How come when I get a comment from someone (it comes via email) sometimes it shows their email address, sometimes it doesn't.

Just today, someone responded to a comment I made, it shows noreply-comment@blogger.com. If I comment on someone's blog, I don't care if they have my email or not.

Yet when some people comment on my blog, I see their email address.

Make sense??

(and I just did a test message where I commented myself and my email addy isn't there.

I am making no sense, can anyone help??

Oops... I meant to leave this comment on THIS post, not the previous one...

Hi, Margaret.

Does it have anything to do with the "Choose an identity" option on your comments page?

It says you can choose to be a "Google/Blogger", "Other," or "Anonymous."

I select "other," then enter my name and the web address for my blog.

Maybe some people choose anonymous, either accidentally or on purpose.

Curious...

On your profile it gives you the option to 'show your e-mail'..if you click that button, your e-mail will show up in your comments...

I have replied to your comments because you e-mailed me personally...so I just went in to noreply and changed it in the e-mail I return to you.

I kinda wish everyone would show email...makes responding easier...and more personal.

Ok, so I have the same problem. You can go into Blogger and click the show email to public button or something and then it comes through....and if not, well I ahven't figured it out yet. But it's a Blogger thing, it's not you.

I posted this as anonymous...It didn't even ask for my e-mail address.

I sent this using my blogger account.

I'm sending this using my own URL address.

Any difference?
