Someone May Die

I have now been 22 hours w/o a cigarette.

I hate EVERYONE

I hate everything.

There is a woman in the other side of the cube wall from me who has been on personal calls for precisely 62 minutes. Some lady's brother had an affair with her neighbor while he was here visiting. Lots of detail about that and other stuff.

Is it bothering me because it's really bothersome or because I have now been 22 hours and 3 minutes w/o a cigarette?

Really, not much is managing to make me happy. the house? Hah - it's a craphole filled w/ boxes right now. Engagement? HAH - No idea if they can find another ring out there for me to wear. Mark? Hah - last night I saw him from 8pm-10:30pm. That's been the longest I have spent with him alone in 3 or 4 weeks. And he said my snoring was so loud he had to go sleep on the gameroom couch.

Oh dear god, nicotine withdrawal sucks. I have eaten more CRAP in the past 3 hours than I care to think about.

You can do it.
I have faith in you.

The jeweler...hmmm..hope they find another ring...bastards. I don't smoke and I hate them too....I understand how you feel.

One of the hardest things to do! Both my parents quick smoking when I was in high school. You must be a JOY right now! LOL

You are just trying to keep your mind occupied so you WON't think of finding a cigarette.

Take up a new hobby? Private investigator? I'd be writing all the details of that lady's conversations down. You could write a book!

YOU CAN DO IT!!!!! Think about the end result.

I know that is not what you want to hear - trying to break any habit sucks....see me without my daily need for sugar and caffeine. (I'm serious - just as bad as any nicotine withdrawal).

It's so hard those first few weeks, but it is possible. You can do it! I have no doubt!

It's been 10 years since I quit smoking. My husband still smokes (he LOST that bet BIG TIME!) and I've stolen hits from him twice in 10 years (both times we were at parties and I had a beer in one hand with nothing to do with the other one. LOL!) I still don't want to go back to it. I feel so, so, so, so, so, sooooo-hohoho much better as a non-smoker! It's all worth it!

I quit five years ago and it sucked. I had the patch and some pills and a giant bag of Twizzlers. It's all I could think about for days. The longer you go the easier it gets...but every once in awhile the thought of smoke will cross my mind so be prepared for that. Thanks to Mama Drama for showing me a hellofa writer. I'll visit often...if you quit :)

Spotted your review on Mama Drama ... It has been one year for me ... If you make it through the first part, it does get easier!

Knitting has helped me ... you can curse the knitting, and it keeps your hands busy!

Good Luck!
