We are Really Getting a House!!! (knock on wood)

We are pretty much done with it...we think.

We were supposed to close April 30...the lady asked to close earlier, and rent it from us for 2 days. So now, we close April 26 and we take possession of the house on April 29!

We are going to move in slowly and should both completely be in by mid to end of May.

OMG - This is soooooo happening!

Only sucky part is that Mark has to work each weekend between now and June. He's going to take one saturday off for the movers, but that's it. We won't get to spend our Saturday evenings together until we are moved in.

Next weekend is our 1 year anniversary and we will most likely go to dinner and he will have to go and pack. His dad is celebrating his b-day the next day so we are just short on time. Too much to do and not enough time.

But tomorrow, we are going to go "get ideas of what we like for rings"!!!

I wanted to make sure I got back with you asap about the dogs. The beagles aren't supposed to catch rabbits. They're just trained to chase the rabbit and bring it back around in a circle so the hunter can shoot them. In the competitions, no one is allowed to carry a gun. The dogs just get scored for following the line, bringing the rabbit out for them to see, barking to let the owner know they've found a rabbit track, etc.
Most of the hunts are for titles (Champion, Grand Champion, etc.) and some of the hunts are for money. The bigger title or more wins your dog has, the more it is worth and the more you can charge for breeding it or for selling the pups from it.
Rabbits are too fast for the dogs to catch, but it does happen. I've only heard of one or two over the years.
