Houston...we have a home

Today Mark and I took possession of our house - officially.

Even though the lady turned the power off and we couldn't see everything, it was still ours.

We walked through the room just looking. At the blinds. At the ceiling fans. It was all ours.

We said "I'd like to get this to go here" or "wow, wouldn't this look great here?".

It's all ours.

A new beginning.

Oh, and we've narrowed it down to 2 months for a wedding. October or February. I am starting to look at places to get ideas of what we like and, of course, pricing.

It's funny, there is now a definite strong beaming light at the end of the long dark tunnel I have been in.

A week from Monday i go in for my mammogram and ultrasound, and once I get my clean bill of health (which I KNOW I will) then everything will be okay.

Mark and I will finally be together. Making our house into our home. Making our future.
