Been a Little Quiet

Why? No particular reason. Or maybe there's one itty bitty reason.

I've been particularly moody.

How's that for the understatement of the year.

I've been particularly bitchy.

Work? yes. Pisses me off.
Home? Yes. Pisses me off.
Dog/Cat? Yes. They piss me off.
Family? You guessed it....pissing me off.

There isn't a whole lot right now that isn't making me mad.

Or making me cry.

We were in the local home improvement store, and I wanted to buy a nice orange bucket with lid to hold the dog's food. They were out of lids. Had dozens of buckets at the end of each and every aisle - but not a damn lid to be found.

And guess what - that made me cry.

Then their computer systems were all jacked up when time to pay. That made me so furious.

This moodiness, please tell me that it will get slightly better. Soon? Someday? Ever??

I feel horrible for how i am acting around/to/in the general vicinity of Mark. I really do. In the middle of one of my fanatical moments, its like I literally look at myself outside of me and wonder who this raving lunatic woman is. (Really, I am not a raving lunatic - but I am definitely closer to that than I am to sanity).

On a better note, I am eleven weeks today! (woo hoo) and we have the next doctors appointment on Thursday! All goes well, Mark should get to hear the heartbeat in person and we will plan for the prenatal testing in about 2 weeks or so.

Here's hoping for a better week!

p.s. - I love being too fat for regular clothes and not pregnant enough for maternity clothes. Wow. That makes me happy.

Heehee. Welcome to the hormone rollercoaster. Your hubby should join a support group of bewildered husbands who are wondering what happened to their sweet wives. Though, I have to say I never feel that bad for mine, he brings it on himself...
Try a bellyband! It looks like a long tank top under your clothes, but can keep your pants up if you need to wear them undone til you get maternity stuff.

Um...I'm still waiting for the hormones to calm and my baby is 4...NOT maybe what you wanted to hear? lol.

Oh that's a rough stage. The mat stores sell lots of below your belly stuff that's also great for after baby comes (cuz don't be too freaked but that belly doesn't go away in a day).

Hugs, hugs, hugs!!!! You will NEVER be the same!

The moodiness and crying never really goes completely away from this point on.

Or maybe that's just me!??!

See, and that point where I was too fat for regular clothes and too small for maternity cloths...sent me over the edge.

It's all a matter of perspective.

And you will NEVER be the same again so don't even try to go there.

1. Hormone surges are good, even if they feel bad. Go with it.

2. It will pass, I promise.

3. Happy birthday, my sweet and beautiful friend.

Oh yes - that in-between clothing phase really sucks.

Of course, I am there again - but I'm going the opposite way now...too fat for my regular clothes and the maternity clothes HANG on me again. (but, I did fit back into my fat jeans so that was nice).

Hey -e-mail me. I have something for you. karhix@yahoo.com
